I can't speak highly enough about D2 Contractors. Excellent work, reasonable prices, and professional work done in a timely manner. My husband and I contacted and interviewed dozens of contractors throughout Baltimore and Carroll County Maryland before deciding to work with Dale for our kitchen remodel. I found his information through Houzz and his previous projects and reviews looked promising so we decided to reach out and were happy to get a prompt response and estimate (if you've been looking for a contractor you know how difficult it can sometimes be to even get someone to respond to you). Mine was a big project and I had a lot of particular demands because I film professional cooking-show videos in my home kitchen, so everything had to be PERFECT. Dale and his team delivered. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and has exceeded my expectations. As a plus, Dale is very easy to work with, very communicative, honest, and easy-going which makes the process so much easier than projects we have had done in the past with other contractors. We were so pleased with our kitchen remodel that we then enlisted D2 Contractors to redo our patio, which again exceeded our expectations. Dale was my contractor when we renovated a 60-year-old house in Hampden. The job involved completely rebuilding the living space on the ground floor. We tore out a wall and solarium and expanded the family room. Two sky lights were created. During the job several flaws in the house were detected and corrected. The existing electrical system was not up to code and was rewired, there was no insulation, and it was provided, much of the plumbing had to be replaced and Dale's team did a first class job. Dale's men were professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy.

I could not have been more elated when the work was finished by this company. First of all, we own a log home. Dale and his crew were the only ones experienced enough, I found to attack this project. Some of the logs had rotted from water damage at the base of the house. This also caused the subfloor to rot and the living floor was ready to go into the basement. The logs had to be chiseled out by hand and refitted with new logs. The sliding front doors then needed to be reinstalled and not a leak to be seen. They installed beautiful hardwood flooring in the living room, to replace where the subfloor had rotted from the water damage. The precision was unbelievable where they cut and matched the flooring against a natural stone fireplace. I also had them replace all of the windows in the house. With Dales's expertise and suggestions on what would compliment the log exterior, they made the house look great. Dale's employees were always on time and very trustworthy. I could not have been more pleased with these projects.

Dale and D2 are very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They did some cosmetic work for the doors and bathrooms in our house. We will now proceed with a larger project to renovate our master suite bathroom. They have also done exterior work such as roof repairs and brickwork. Dale German and his crew are top-notch. I was given a detailed estimate for all work, including taking up several layers of flooring in my basement, repairing the cement floors, and refurbishing two full bathrooms (removing and replacing tile, toilets, tub/shower, and accessories, replacing cabinet fronts), and refinishing hardwood floors. He completed all work on time and within budget, helped select fixtures that were of superior quality at reasonable prices, and was available by phone and email to answer any questions right away.
We used D2 for two major jobs at our home. The first was to replace our roof after a storm. Dale not only did that, but he also raised the ceiling in our "sunroom" to match the pitch of the existing roof and made the room much more spacious feeling. The second job was a major renovation of the main floor of our ranch-style house. Dale and his subs redid four bathrooms and updated all the other rooms to make them accessible for us to be on one floor. They did a great job!
